“A Gathering of Flower Fairies: Cai Jin Solo Exhibition” will open at Triumph Gallery on October 14th, 2017. This exhibition is held by Triumph Gallery for the latest individual works, by Ms. Cai Jin for the second time since the “Static and Flowing: Cai Jin Solo Exhibition” in 2015. The exhibition consists of four sections—Drawings, Canna, Landscape, and Installations. The exhibition itself reveals Cai Jin’s art appearance in a relatively complete form. In the exhibited representative Canna series, there is the first piece of Canna, Canna 1, created in 1991. There’s also the gigantic piece of Canna, Canna 365, which took one year and a half to create between March 2016 and October 2017. Furthermore, the first piece of video Canna will be also presented in this exhibition.
It is a great honor that we invited Mr.Chang Tsong-Zung as the curator of Cai Jin’s solo exhibition. Mr. Chang has been active in curating Chinese exhibitions since 1980s, which promoted the development of Chinese art around the globe. The seminal exhibition “China’s New Art Post 1989,” co-curated by Mr.Chang and Mr. Li Xianting, was inaugurated at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in January 1993, and toured internationally until December 1997. Cai Jin was the only female artist that was presented in “China’s New Art Post 1989” among fifty artists in total. Since then, the 27-years-old Cai Jin started to attract great attention both in China and around the world. Her works began to appear on the international stage constantly. In the meanwhile, her art career unfolded firmly and freely... The exhibition will continue to Nov.19.2017, warmly welcome to visit our exhibition.
