From November 5 to 6, Christie's Hong Kong Autumn Auction 2023 Beijing Preview was the first of its kind to debut, showcasing more than two hundred selected lots across categories for this season's Autumn Auction. During the preview period, Christie's, in collaboration with ArtPro and ZaiArt, held a special "Oriental Coordinates - The Path of Chinese 20th Century Art Pioneers" art salon at the B1 Lecture Hall of the China World Trade Center Hotel on November 5 at 15:00, Invited Shao Yiyang, Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Vice Dean of the College of Humanities; Li Lanfang, President of the Beijing Art Gallery Association and Director of Triumph Gallery; and Lin Jiaru, Vice Chairman of Christie's Asia-Pacific and Co-Head of the 20th and 21st Century Art Department, were invited to discuss the paths of Chinese pioneers of twentieth-century art, represented by Chang Yu, Lin Fengmian, and Zao Wou-ki, in their exploration of the integration of the East and the West, and the inspiration they have for the present day.
