Zhu’s artistic practice can be seen as an exploration of post-modernism creative methods, in which the narrative of literature is deconstructed and its meaning rewoven. As Derrida states in his work "Philology": "Deconstruction is not a method or a set of tools; it is a presence that is never there." Through her brush, Zhu disassembles narratives in literary works into fragments and reassembles these fragments, connecting them to form a complex creative network that creates a variety of meanings and understandings.
Zhu's recent solo exhibitions includes: "Echoes of Planes, Flows of Geometry " (HKE Art Museum, Ningbo, 2024), "Mirrors in Splinters" (RDV Gallery, Beijing, 2023).
